What does MyPhysio offer?
MyPhysio Clinic will offer typical physiotherapy treatments as one would associate with a Physiotherapy Clinic e.g. rehabilitation programmes post surgery/injury, spinal mobilisations, dry needling, muscle release techniques, exercise therapy etc.
The Clinic will have two specialist services:
- The Tendon Clinic
- Running Analysis
The Tendon Clinic is a service that treats Tendon Pain e.g. Achilles, Patellar, Gluteal, Rotator Cuff Tendonopathies. A treatment within this service is Shockwave Therapy. Shockwave Therapy is fast emerging as a solution to Tendon pain in the scientific body of evidence and there is only a handful in the country. Other treatments mentioned above are included in The Tendon Clinic service.
Running Analysis is a service for injured runners, where the clients running gait is recorded, broken down and altered to achieve a more economic style which would help with their injury. As part of the Running Analysis they get a full assessment of their mobility and stability. The client will get exercises and their video sent to them. The type of client who would benefit from Running Analysis are those who have recurring injures when they go running, new to running or currently have a running injury.
